Beamos are one of the more common recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda video game series. They're a mechanical eye mounted on a rotating stone pillar and searches for intruders. You could say they're like security cameras. If an intruder is spotted, it will fire a beam at it. You can defeat the Beamos by firing an arrow into its eye or bombing it.
