Deadpool is a character from the Marvel Comics universe and is portrayed as a mercinary / antihero. He's a wisecrack by nature which gave him the nickname "Merc with a Mouth". As part of the Weapon X program, Deadpool has also gained the regenerative healing ability similar to that popular Marvel superhero that has a movie coming out next year(Wolverine).
