Loves-Me-Not Bot Paper Toy (Valentine's Day 2011)

Happy Valentine's Day from Paperkraft.net and Crafty Little Sod, this is the newest bot-on-the-block / paper toy under the Romantical Robots series and is called Loves-Me-Not Bot.

This paper toy is named after the He/She Loves Me, He/She Loves Me Not game.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not or She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not (originally effeuiller la marguerite in French) is a game of French origin, in which one person seeks to determine whether the object of their affection returns that affection or not.

A person playing the game alternately speaks the phrases "He (or she) loves me," and "He loves me not," while picking one petal off a flower (usually an oxeye daisy) for each phrase. The phrase they speak on picking off the last petal supposedly represents the truth between the object of their affection loving them or not. -Wikipedia

Just like the alternating word play of the game, Loves-Me-Not Bot has a rotating head (see pic above) that shows both a happy and sad face.

The Cardiovores appear once each year, and always travel in pairs. They are naturally attracted to those who are in love, as these couples are more delicious than others. Once their prey is captured, The Cardiovores consume them, heart first. Once replete with food, they slither back into the depths of the forest and burrow into their subterranean nests, keeping each other warm.
